The Ultimate Burrito Bowl

We couldn’t exactly create the ultimate burrito bowl seasoning and not give you a burrito bowl recipe, could we?! This one not only tastes great but is packed with colorful veg and protein.

Time: Prep: 15 Minutes. Cook: 10 Minutes


Macros Per Serving:  520 Calories, 28g Protein, 41g Carbs, 27g Fat. 




1tbsp Olive Oil

1 small Red Onion, finely chopped (100g)

500g Turkey Mince

2tbsp Bronte Blends Burrito Bowl Seasoning

1/2 tin Diced Tomatoes (200g)


250g Cooked Brown Rice (we use one of the microwavable pouches)


2 Cups Chopped Red Cabbage

1 Cup Chopped Cherry Tomatoes

1 Cup Sweet Corn

1 Cup chopped Cucumber

1 medium Avocado, diced


Optional Garnish: Lime and fresh coriander



  1. Heat the oil in a large pan over a medium heat. Add the turkey mince and half of the chopped onion, stirring until the meat has browned. 
  2. Add 2tbsp of Bronte Blends Burrito Bowl Seasoning to the pan, along with half a cup of water and the diced tomatoes. Mix through and cook for another 5 minutes or until the meat has cooked through. 
  3. Now it’s time to build your bowl! Create a base layer with the cabbage and brown rice. Next, add a layer of the cooked mince. 
  4. Top your burrito bowl with the cherry tomatoes, sweet corn, cucumber and avocado. Garnish with fresh lime and coriander if using and enjoy!
